A bit about Alan After some time spent travelling overseas and managing a restaurant, I took a year off in 2001 to study web development, as it was the "buzz" word at the time and seemed an exciting space to be in. Studying at I.T Intellect (MCSD and Web Development) was fantastic, and a huge learning curve.

While studying I managed to cut my teeth by developing websites for various business's. This was to stand me in good stead as Rob Fisher liked what he saw, and offered to take me on for a month to gain experience at AAT. I have not looked back.

My first years at AAT were spent in the development and systems architecture environments. AAT’s incubatory culture helped loads, especially with guru’s like Tyronne, Richard and Kieron sharing their knowledge. ASP, SQL, JavaScript and eventually .NET were the order of the day.

Since then I have moved into the business side of the company, and completed my Marketing Management Diploma through the IMM in 2010.

Alan has been with AAT since March 2002.
